Downey Car Wash

I've been coming for a while and return because of the work it's really clean and it's hard to find places where they do good work the reason they don't get five stars is because like other reviews the customer service the guy that gets your keys lacks people skills that is key for his position if I'm paying 55 dollars to have my car washed and waxed I want to be greeted with a smile and when I pay also with a "goodmorning" or afternoon whatever the case may be I don't think it's too much to ask for I don't need an entire conversation that is also annoying the manager should talk to these people you only get a customer once a happy customer will bring you 10 clients and an unsatisfied customer will cost you 20. They have a water fountain some trees and benches and it's really nice to sit and watch your car being done.

i loved the service and people here. I am not only happy with the quality of the detail and wash, but also the the mechanic and oil change sections. I will always be back. good prices, great service and friendly people.. I don't understand the negative reviews. I recommend this place highly.

I've taken my car here for over 5 years and it's always done right. they leave it super clean and yes the staff can be a little annoyed but I would be to if I had to work and customers complaining about little water marks here and there which is not even that bad to tell you the truth, your car is going to get dirty right when you the place ! Lol I love that place and will be coming here for a long time.

The staff at Downey Hand Car Wash & Detail Center are detailed oriented and friendly. I am grateful to be able to rely on having my car detailed and polished to the nines every time I visit any of their carwash establisments.

I was really happy with the quick service they gave me. I had a wedding and I came at the last minute to get a car wash. Did a fair job. Spent $9 and received a fair service. I would recommend this place to others.

OUTSTANDING! I never take any of my vehicles to any carwash. Always did them my self. While I watched them like a hawk and talked with the managers. ..nervous. The brand new rig came out perfect. This my go to carwash. ..reasonable too.

This is my go to car wash. It is local and never takes long when I'm here. I have never had a bad experience here so I don't know about all these bad reviews but for me they do what I want for the right price. If you want a perfect car wash inside and out then I would go somewhere more professional. But if your just looking for a place that will wash your car and keep it looking clean then this is the place to go.

Maybe the place was changed, maybe the staff turned over.... but I don't get the terrible reviews. From a quality point of view, I brought my car in for a mid-tier wash and got exactly that, plus a bit more elbow grease than expected. Most of the other cars coming through while I was there opted for the lowest level; if you want fast & fairly cheap, by all means, but you get what you pay for with those and moving just a couple bucks up makes you stand out to the people working too. From a facility standpoint, this is one of the nicest car wash buildings I've seen which, while not important to the service, is a nice perk. Of course it's one that factors into the cost too. It's not award winning, I wouldn't run to get a monthly package and drive back up there weekly but I'd gladly come back if I was in the area.
