Downey Car Wash

I have been coming to this car wash exclusively for about 15 years, even though I live about 10 miles away. They are very careful and thorough. I don't go often, so normally my car is pretty gruesome going in, and comes out looking like new!! There are several options depending on your budget, from about $15 to $25. I go only on the weekend and they are not super fast, but I normally can get in and out in about 30 minutes (probably weekdays are significantly faster).

Quick and convenient wash and oil change! First they give you a free cold water when you leave your car for the oil change. Next they have a cool waiting room and lots of benches outside. They have ice cream and sodas for sale in the waiting room. They have all kinds of car related items as well. There are TV screens. While you wait a guy comes up to you and tells you what will be done to your car and what it needs replaced. They tried to get me to flush the transmission which costs around 99$. According to my father you really don't need to flush the transmission and he has had most of his cars in tip top shape for really long periods of time. I trust my dad so I am dropping the stars from 5 to 4 since I don't really appreciate that every time I come they try to get me to flush the transmission fluid. This place cracks me up. Today the guy did not come up to me with the receipt and so I never knew my car was ready to go. Another reason they just get 4 stars. If I would have wanted to I could have taken the keys from the car wash attendant nearest my car and left without paying haha! These guys have no clue if you have paid or not. Lucky for them I am honest. I went to the cashier and paid. I wonder how many people do leave without paying though.

I bought a Groupon at $13 for the $18 Diamond Car Wash and came on the day I had bought it. Dumb me, the coupon was supposed to be redeemed the next day, but I had already dropped off my car. The woman at the cashier table, Nereida, was a sweetheart and said they would take the coupon today anyway, she took my information to get the code from me the next day. Needless to say, I was very satisfied with the customer service here. And my car is perfect! (I've been putting off it's wash for like 2months now) The coupon was good for the Diamond Wash, which includes -- Full Service Hand Wash: 1. Vacuum Carpets & Mats 2. Empty Ashtray 3. I've been coming to this place for years! They do an awesome wash job and also have a detail shop and oil change service on site. The staff is friendly and they sell a wide selection of car merchandise and accessories. The service is quick and very thorough, with usually 2-3 guys always working on each car.

Quick service, very detailed, and love the wash. Got the chance to talked with the owner very friendly and helpful. They even offer paint touch up for my BMW. Thank you,

more close to work fun for you stalkers. they do an okay job but on weds its $11 for one of those carwash/slick wax deals so that works. they vaccuum your interiors and wipe down the inside of your windows. the rest is taken care of (quite well i might add) buy a drive thru machine with neon purple soap. only takes about 30 mins or less and they have some nice waiting areas.
